SAZFSC coaches

Jennifer Kendall: Jennifer has been coaching for over 20 years. She has taught students of all ages and skill levels from absolute beginners to competitive figure skaters, and hockey players. Jennifer specializes in freestyle, moves in the field, power and skating skills (for figure skating and hockey), and adult skaters. She also has experience working with skaters with special needs. In addition to coaching with the Southern Arizona Figure Skating Club, Jennifer is the skating director for the U.S. Figure Skating Basic Skills Learn to Skate program in Tucson. Jennifer is a member of U.S. Figure Skating and the Professional Skaters Association and she is certified to coach at all U.S. Figure Skating sanctioned test sessions, shows, non-qualifying and qualifying competitions. Marianne Mazur-Stewart: Marianne is a United States Figure Skating Gold Medalist in Figures, Freestyle and Dance, and a Silver Medalist in Pairs. She also holds a CFS Gold Medal in Dance. Marianne started her coaching career in Cleveland, Ohio and later continued her career in the Bowling Green, Ohio area until moving to Tucson. Leigh Stanton: Leigh is a United States Figure Skating Gold Medalist in Figures and Freestyle and a Pre-Silver Medalist in Dance. She was a competitive singles skater for 15 years and a judge for 20 years. Leigh has years of experience coaching skaters of all levels from the very beginner to the serious competitor. She focuses on excellence in skating fundamentals to ensure success. She teaches Freestyle, Power Skating/Stroking, Moves in the Field and Choreography and is a member of USFSA.
